Mrinal Desai is a Director of Photography based in Mumbai, India. He shoots an eclectic range of films and videos and his credits include 2nd unit DOP on the Oscar winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, and DOP of the BAFTA winning documentary, ‘Terror in Mumbai’. His latest feature ‘Likhatam Nainsukh’ opens the Orizzonti competition section at the 67th Venice film festival this year. When not filming Mrinal meditates, practices taichi and plays with his cat.
